Official delays: Nobody getting passports for a week

Officials claimed that Interior Ministry had directed them not to speak to journalists or let them in their offices.

FAISALABAD:
The supply of passports in the Faisalabad region has been halted for a week, The Express Tribune has learnt. This has affected more than 20,000 citizens who were expecting to get their passports in the last week. Officials at the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) office in the city said that passports were not being printed in the capital. Refusing to answer more questions, the officials claimed that the Interior Ministry had directed them not to speak to journalists or let them in their offices.
