Doctors: YDA strike continues

The Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) continued its outdoors protest for  the 16th consecutive day on Thursday. Services Hospital unit YDA vice president Dr Farhan Sahi said that 14 young doctors had been in jail for one month and the Health Department was creating hurdles in their release.



Meanwhile, a five-member delegation of YDA Punjab called on MQM Deputy Convener and Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Dr Farooq Sattar.  The delegation apprised the minister of their demands. YDA Punjab General Secretary Dr Usman Maan led the delegation.
