Jumping ship: Former PPP MNA joins PTI
Virk predicted that the PTI would win by a landslide at Kamoke in the general elections.

Abdullah Virk of Kamoke, a former MNA and a former member of the National Assembly and of the Punjab Assembly with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), on Tuesday announced that he was joining the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI). According to a PTI press release, Virk met with Imran Khan, the PTI chairman, and expressed “full confidence” in his leadership. Virk predicted that the PTI would win by a landslide at Kamoke in the general elections. He said that as the party in power, the PPP had failed to deliver good governance.
