The first poster of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new project Ram Leela is out.
Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh can be seen standing atop a pile of guns, with slim-waisted and graceful Deepika looking stunning in an Anju Modi lehenga that weight a whopping 30kg and has a 30 metre gher. While she can be seen in a rustic-desi avatar, the film-makers say that they wanted to go for a contemporary feel as the love story is not a period drama.
Actor Ranveer Singh is happy with the first poster of his new film Ram Leela. “I think it has given the right signals about what kind of zone the film is in — dramatic, romantic, epic, massy, love story. It looks grand,” the 27-year-old said here at the Stardust Awards. However, the poster of the film does seem to have stirred up a controversy online as bloggers feel it is a rip-off of TV show Revenge. Whatever the case may be, it’s surely got a lot of people talking about the movie, which is scheduled for a November 29, release.
