PESHAWAR:

The convener of Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Pakistan (TTP) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), Irfanuddin, said the party has completed its membership drive and is ready to contest the next general elections from the province.

Addressing a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club, Irfan claimed the party has more than 70,000 registered members from K-P. He also presented the TTP’s short manifesto and said intra-party elections will be held soon.

The manifesto states “TTP Chief Abdul Qadir Khan will provide real leadership as compared to the corrupt politicians who have looted the country since it was founded.” Restoring sovereignty, forming an independent foreign policy and maintaining friendly relations with the international community will be the corner stone of our agenda, Irfan said.

The armed forces of Pakistan will also be made stronger to cope with all external and internal threats, Irfan added.
