Remission: 30 prisoners released from Attock Jail
A small ceremony was also held at the jail to mark Eid Miladun Nabi.

As any as 30 prisoners were released from the Attock District Jail under special presidential remission on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi.
The Jail Superintendent Chaudry Asghar Ali said that among others one woman also benefited from the remission. However, remission was not allowed for the prisoners, involved in terrorism cases or those convicted under Hudood Laws or for treason cases, he added.
Moreover, a small ceremony was also held at the jail to mark Eid Miladun Nabi. Organised by the jail authorities, the event featured naats, mehfil-e-milaad and a discussion on the Prophet’s (PBUH) life.
