A man’s tongue was cut off, allegedly after his family could not pay the ransom demanded by the persons who had kidnapped him.
The police said that Asif had been kidnapped three days ago fro, Jhang Road, according to his family. The kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs500,000, which the family could not pay.
The men, said the family, had thrown Asif near their home on Saturday. When they found him, they took him to Allied Hospital. Thikriwala police said they had registered an FIR and claimed to have arrested two suspects. SSP (Operations) said that the men might have kidnapped Asif because of a rivalry. Asif is a named suspect in the kidnapping of three women, the officer told The Express Tribune.
