Sheikhan village: Route opened for residents
“The curfew has been lifted and people are now free to use the route,” says a local elder.

Law enforcement agencies on Wednesday ended the five-day curfew in Sheikhan village, which borders Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency, said residents. They said the curfew was imposed last week on Friday when the main route was blocked and tribesmen were not allowed to enter the settled areas. Locals added the curfew was relaxed for a few hours during the past two days. “The curfew has been lifted and people are now free to use the route,” said a local elder. He added the curfew created a lot of problems for those residing on the border of the settled district and Khyber Agency.
