Manhunt: 10 detained in Quetta by FC
The FC was delegated authority to curb incidents of kidnapping for ransom and sectarian violence.
QUETTA:
The Frontier Corps (FC) detained at least 10 men in a series of targeted man hunt operations across the provincial capital.
“The accused will be freed after interrogation if they are found innocent,” official sources said. After the imposition of governor’s rule in Balochistan, the FC was delegated authority to curb incidents of kidnapping for ransom and sectarian violence.
In response, the FC is carrying out targeted operations in Quetta as well as other towns of Balochistan. Seperately, security personnel recovered a 5kg landmine in a coastal town of Balochistan.
