KARACHI:
The Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) announced on Monday that it would not take part in the by-elections for six vacant provincial assembly seats scheduled for next month.
PML-F chief Pir Sibghatullah said that there was no need for filling the vacant assembly seats when the government was about to complete its term. The government wants to prolong its rule by conducting the by-elections, he added.
