Hockey: Legendary coach Roda passes away
The Pakistan Hockey Federation, while condoling his demise, termed his death a huge loss for the game.

Former Pakistan player and legendary coach Mohammad Aslam Roda passed away yesterday at the age of 75 after a prolonged illness.
Roda was a part of the hockey team in the 1960s and also served as national team’s coach during the 1990s. The Gojra-based veteran was credited for producing a plethora of hockey talent in the country including Olympians Tahir Zaman and Shahbaz Junior. The Pakistan Hockey Federation, while condoling his demise, termed his death a huge loss for the game.
