KARACHI:
Investigators probing the Shahzeb Khan murder case have nominated Shahrukh Jatoi’s cousins Salman Jatoi and Asif Lund as suspects, Express News reported on Monday.

The decision was taken in light of the statements provided by eye-witnesses.

Shahzeb, the young son of a police officer, was shot dead in the upscale Defence neighbourhood of Karachi on December 25 over a petty dispute.

Prime suspect Shahrukh, who had slipped away from the country to evade arrest after the murder, was brought back by the police after he was deported from Dubai. He was identified as the alleged killer by the witnesses during an identification parade.

Shahrukh will also be taken to hospital today for his age verification.
