Prize distribution: Punjab sports festival concludes

Punjab government is promoting youth at every level in every institution and RAC is one of the examples, says MPA.

A total of Rs6,96,700 were distributed among 580 players of 18 events including cricket, football, volleyball, qira’t and naat khawani.

A prize distribution ceremony for the Punjab Sports Festival 2012 was held at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Saturday. Tehsil Sports Council Chairman and Punjab Assembly member Raja Muhammad Hanif was the guest of honour on the occasion.



Rawal Town Administrator Aftab Ahmed Chauhan, District Officer Sports Babar Waheed, RAC Resident Director were also present on the occasion.

A total of Rs6,96,700 were distributed among 580 players of 18 events including cricket, football, volleyball, qira’t and naat khawani. While addressing the ceremony, Hanif commended the festival was the greatest event of the history organised by Punjab Government and youth were given opportunity to show their inner abilities without any discrimination.

He said that Punjab government is promoting youth at every level in every institution and RAC is one of the examples.
