Addressing a rally in Rahim Yar Khan along with the Punjab governor, Gilani welcomed Murtaza Mehmood, Mustafa Mehmood and Ali Mehmood to the party.
Murtaza is an MPA, while Mustafa is an MNA.
Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood earlier belonged to Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F) but had resigned from the party when President Asif Ali Zardari offered him the post of the governor.
The governor, addressing the rally later, claimed that he did not need any protocol as he was the peoples’ governor. He said that the doors of the Governor House are always open for the people of Punjab.
“I promise you that the current government will give power to you to help you get developed,” he told the people.

Despicable! Says a lot about the "principles" of our dear Makhdooms, Pirs and Gilanis. When will their vote bank realise the characters of the 'leaders" they vote in time and time again. Just when? This has to STOP for us to see any semblance of progress via democracy.

Before election, every political party's leaders says that his political party will win the election.
In the last elections PML(Q) was the ruling party and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussian also said that his party will won the last elections. Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was dreaming to become Prime Minister of Pakistan, but what happened?
PML(Q) was completely wiped out from the last general elections and PPP got the sympathy vote after BB was killed in a shoot out and bomb attack in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007.
Finally, PML(Q) after the departure of General Musharraf joined PPP and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi got the slot of Deputy Prime Minister in a politically bargained deal.
People who are of the opinion that PPP will again come into power are living in fools paradise.
What do the politicians think of themselves? I say that an ordinary voter has more political acumen than a political leader of any political party. Are voters going to vote for the same PPP in whose term the inflation of daily used items have gone high bt 300%, there is no gas and electricity and the sitting government could not control the law and order situation.
I do not at all see that PPP is going to win the next general elections and will be able to form the government, what to talk about the politicians who are jumping from one political party to another party.

PML(N) is the only party which can fight menace of PPP. PTI or another party does not have capacity to deal with Zardari's tricks. Please don't waste your vote. There is always next time.

Pakistan is their fiefdom. Sons and fathers, daughters and sisters all rule us like we are their private jägir.
