ATTOCK: Residents of Sanjwal Cantt. and surrounding areas have demanded the authorities to re-open the main road leading to their homes, failing which they will come out on the streets to protest the arbitrary decision.

The Cantt. administration has banned the entry of residents on Sanjwal Road. According to ex-nazim Mirza Jamshaid Iftikhar, Muslim League-N leader Muhammad Khan and other political representatives who were talking to newsmen, the only alternative route leading to their homes has been totally damaged by the rains and could not be used.

They threatened to protest against the Cantt. administration and the interior minister. They said it was difficult for people to go about their business.
