Hockey: PAF outplay HEC 3-0
National Hockey Championship kicks off at the Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium with a one-sided match between PAF and HEC

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) defeated the Higher Education Commission (HEC) 3-0 in a one-sided game on the opening day of National Hockey Championship that kicked off at the Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium yesterday.
PAF dominated the ground from the beginning of the match without giving their opponents a chance to score, hence taking home a win.
“We laid a new Astroturf six months ago which raised the standard to one seen at international venues,” Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Hockey Federation Secretary Zahir Shah told The Express Tribune. This will hopefully prove the tournament’s success.”
