ABBOTABAD:
A local court convicted a government employee for violating employment rules, court officials said on Thursday. According to the prosecution record, Nisar Khan of Langriyal had been serving as wall man in the Public Health Department for more than a decade. However, he simultaneously got himself employed as a salesman at an outlet of Utility Store Corporation and drew salaries from both the departments for several months, which is against the law. The FIA arrested Khan and registered a criminal case against him. The case was heard by a senior civil judge, who sentenced him to six months of prison with Rs40,000 in fine.
