Traffic plan: Police lay out chup tazia procession route

DIG Traffic says owners of those vehicles that will join procession must obtain entry passes.

The route of the procession of chup tazia that will be held on January 21 (Rabiul Awal 8) has been laid out by DIG Traffic, Karachi.


The owners of those vehicles that will join the procession must obtain entry passes, he added. The procession will start after Fajr from Nishter Park and will end at Imambargah Hussain Iranianian Kharadar after Zuhrain prayer. A second procession will start from Qasr-e-Musayyab in Rizvia Society and will end at Imambargah Shah Najaf Martin Road.

The stickers for government vehicles, ambulances and media vehicles will be issued between January 19 and January 20, by the office of DIG Traffic security branch, Police Headquarters in Garden, Aga Khan -III Road.



Scouts, welfare organisations, sabils, and people distributing nazar and niaz should also submit their application forms along with attested photocopies of the registration book of the vehicle, CNICs of the vehicle owner, driving licence, two attested photographs of the driver and a letter from the owner or organisation at Qasr-e-Musayyab between January 15 and January 18.
