One person was killed in the Usmanabad area of Lyari, while two people were killed in a firing incident in Ranchore Line.
Karachi has been plagued by an ongoing series of target killings, with at least 170 people killed in various incidents and shoot-outs across the city in August this year.
The government and law enforcement agencies have so far failed to curb the target killings.
