Management practices: 2-day conference at LUMS from today

The conference will include lectures, research tracks and workshops.

LAHORE: A two-day international conference on management practices will be organised by the Suleman Dawood School of Business at the Lahore University of Management Sciences in collaboration with the South Asian Academy of Management from today (Wednesday). Titled the International Research Conference on Contemporary Management Practices 2013, the conference will be addressed by business experts and academics who will share their research work on management practices. The conference will include lectures, research tracks and workshops. Chaired by Dr Kamran Chattha, director of research and PhD programme at the LUMS, the conference will include research papers on business and ethics, entrepreneurship, technology and innovation management, corporate social responsibility and marketing and advocacy. The first day’s activity will include parallel research tracks and workshops on topics ranging from trade and economics, business culture and ethics, work environment and job satisfaction to the role of emotions in business.
