Formula One: Doubts remain over German GP venue

Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone has stated that a decision regarding the location of 2013’s German Grand Prix may not be made before this year’s season gets underway in March. This is due to protracted discussions with the Nurburgring circuit which is supposed to host the race, according to ESPN. “We have got a German Grand Prix but we don’t know where it is going to be,” said Ecclestone. “We have got the race pencilled in. We can decide it once the season starts.” Ecclestone said no when he was asked whether there would be a possibility for the race to take place at the Nurburgring Ecclestone. “The trouble is that the people that used to be there have gone. They haven’t got enough money.”
