QUETTA:

Faisal Edhi, son of renowned philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi, has said that four Edhi Trust volunteers believed to have been killed in Thursday’s blasts in Quetta, in fact died after being shot during the bombings.

They were not killed in the explosion, he added. “We will continue serving humanity and materialise the mission of martyrs,” he said while addressing the media during a visit to the Quetta Press Club on Saturday to condole the death of three journalists who were killed in the blasts.

Faisal regretted that the situation had deteriorated to that extent that everybody mistrusted each other. After every incident, infuriated people armed with weapons come out and target innocent people, he said.
