‘Child kidnapper’ caught, beaten up
A man was caught on Saturday for allegedly trying to kidnap a child.

A man was caught on Saturday for allegedly trying to kidnap a child. He was beaten up and handed over to the police.
The man was identified as Nawab Khan, a resident of Jhang. Police said some children were playing the street when Yaqoob, a resident of Mansoorabad, saw Khan trying to cover his son in a sheet. He said when he shouted at him, Khan threw the child, whom he had picked up in his arms, and tried to flee. Some neighbours caught him and beat him up. Police were called and he was handed over to them. Khan told police that he was not a kidnapper. He said “he just loved to play with children”.
