Health: 15 ‘high risk’ UCs in Rahim Yar Khan’
EDO says settlements of refugees from other part of the country are increasing the risk of contagious diseases.

Fifteen union councils (UC) in Rahim Yar Khan district have been declared high risk for contagious diseases by the Provincial Health Department and World Health Organisation. Health EDO Dr Fayaz Hussain said refugees from Balochistan, Khyber Pakthunkhwa, Waziristan and Sindh are setting up temporary settlements at Rahim Yar Khan, which increases the risk for disease. He said the high risk UCs were Machka, Kot Sanjar Khan, Bhong, Mohib Shah, Dhandi, Jhok Gulaab Shah, Ahmad Ali Laar, Dafli Kabeer Khan, Qadirpur, Chachraan Shareef, Hajipur, Thall Khair Muhammad, Abadpur, Shahpur and Rajanpur.
