First batch: SMIU to conduct classes from Jan 14
The orientation for the new students will take place on Saturday.

The classes for the very first batch of students at the Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) will begin from Monday, January 14.
SMIU vice chancellor Dr Mohammad Ali Shaikh conducted a meeting with deans of faculties, chairpersons of department and administrative officials on Thursday and finalised all the arrangements before the commencement of classes.
The orientation for the new students will take place on Saturday, January 12, where the newly admitted students would be able to complete the registration process between 9am and 10am. They will later proceed to the Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto Auditorium for taking part in various orientation activities.
