After his first-round exit in Athens in 2004 and being hit by a hamstring problem in the 200-metre finals in Helsinki, Bolt said that his coach is the one element who is responsible for getting him on this path to success.
“My coach has really led me in the right direction in every way possible through these years,” said the Jamaican. “I have strayed from the path many times, but he has stuck with me, pushed me and kept me focused in every way possible to make sure I was ready to go at all times.”
