Foreign Ministry clarifies secretary's remarks on MFN status

ISLAMABAD:
The Foreign Ministry on Thursday clarified that comments by the foreign secretary on granting India most favoured nation status had been reported out of context.


In a statement, the foreign ministry spokesperson said that the Secretary had pointed towards the reservations express by some stakeholders.

Spokesperson said that Pakistan government is committed to implement its decision to establish normal trade relations with India.
