Speculations: Three watchmen missing in FR Tank
No one has claimed responsibility for their kidnapping.
DERA ISMAIL KHAN:
The whereabouts of three watchmen, who had gone missing on January 7 from Jandola Bazaar in Frontier Regions (FR) Tank, have not been ascertained, said an official of the political administration. The identity of the watchmen, hailing from Bhittani tribes, is also not confirmed. They were hired to guard Jandola Bazaar at night. The incident happened a day before the head of the aman committee in FR Tank, Nasrullah Bhittani, was targeted in a remote-controlled bomb in Jandolah Bazaar. A local of the area, requesting anonymity, said that the guards might have been kidnapped so unidentified assailants could plant the bomb in that area. So far, no one has claimed responsibility for their kidnapping.
