LAHORE: Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Tariq Mehmood Zargham has reserved his verdict for Thursday (today) on a petition seeking the registration of a case against singer Humaira Channa. The petitioner, Chaudhry Younas, submitted that the singer and her mother had bought jewellery with 122 grams of gold in it from him, but not paid for it. He said he had repeatedly asked her to clear the bill, but she had not. The counsel for the accused submitted that Channa had paid for the jewellery and the petitioner was trying to damage her reputation.  The petitioner has asked the court to direct the Old Anarkali SHO to register a case against the singer.
