On studying abroad: UK immigration judge visits GCUF

Barrister Majid says that students intending to study abroad must be aware of the laws of the host country.

Also on Wednesday, an immigration judge in the United Kingdom, Barrister Dr Amir A Majid, visited the university.



Addressing the students, Barrister Majid said that he had heard 3,500 cases. He said that students intending to study abroad must be aware of the laws of the host country. He said most students were refused visas because they lacked information about the country where they wanted to pursue higher education.

VC DR Hussain, Human Resources Director Sheikh Muhammad Akram, Registrar Muhammad Ayub, Director of Administration Chaudhry Mushtaq and Additional Controller of Examination Kishwar Naheed Rana were also present.
