Behind bars: Impostor posing as Shahbaz Sharif’s son arrested

The police on Tuesday arrested an imposter posing as the son of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Mohsin Kamal, a resident of Model Town, Lahore, told the motorway police he was visiting Peshawar and was able to secure VIP protocol from the city police.
When Khan reached Jamrud Road, the police became suspicious and he was taken to the Town police station. Admitting to being an imposter, Khan told the police he was a resident of Model Town and wanted to attract attention.
“We don’t know about his intentions, but an FIR has been registered against him,” said a Town police official. The imposter has been put behind bars.
He was produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate Nasrullah who gave him into the custody of the Town police for a 24 hours physical remand. Earlier, police arrested an imposter who was trying to lease 10 kanal of land in Kaghan while posing as a colonel of the Inter-Services Intelligence.
