The commissioner said that the launch of another project was in the row. Under the project, tuff tiles would be laid from Shahi Bazaar to Shahzadi Chowk. The project cost has been estimated at Rs4.5 million.

The commisioner said the improved surface would make transportation to the inner parts of the city more accessible.

He said the walking ways in the market areas were important for the customers and therefore traders.

Khichi urged the traders to remove encroachments from in front of their shops voluntarily so that the market area was broadened and there be more walking space. He said every citizen had his responsiblity towards the city.
