“We missed a huge opportunity for a clean sweep, especially after getting them out for a low total," says Misbah.

NEW DEHLI: Pakistan lost the third One-Day International (ODI) against India by 10 runs in New Delhi on Sunday, but managed to seal its victory in the series by winning the series 2-1.

The tourists declared the Delhi chill an impediment, but India’s prowess on the field was declared by team captain Misbahul-Haq as the factor which caused the greatest shift in the balance.

“We missed a huge opportunity for a clean sweep, especially after getting them out for a low total [of 167]. But credit goes to the Indian bowlers and fielders who exploited the conditions better than us and saved at least 35 runs in the field which proved to be the main difference,” said Misbah.
