ISLAMABAD: The Afghan Taliban warned on Saturday of a prolonged war in Afghanistan if any foreign troops stay after the end of 2014, as Kabul and Washington prepare to discuss the “residual” US security presence. “If America wants to leave a small or large number of its troops for whatever length of time then it means war and destruction will continue in the region for that same length,” the Taliban said in a statement.

Who says that complete witdrawl is possible till there is illeagal arms in the hands of Taliban . In fact the drones will force them to surrender before the remaining force there . It is only then the ongoing war will end up . Now the war will enter in its second phase when the local forces and Pakistan will confront with them . In next five years there will be no trace of taliban and their suporters till then foreign forces will continue to moniter the war game for the desired result .
