LAHORE:

Judge Tariq Mehmood Zargham has again sought comments from the Old Anarkali SHO for January 7 on a petition against singer Humaira Channa.

The judge had summoned the SHO for January 5, but he did not turn up, nor submit his response via a subordinate.

Petitioner Chaudhry Younas claims that Channa and her mother Khairunnisa have taken jewellery containing 122 grams of gold from him, but haven’t paid for it. He submitted that he had approached the Old Anarkali police for the registration of a case, but the officer declined. The singer, in an earlier press statement, has denied the charges.
