Death sentence one convicted, two acquitted

LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge on Friday awarded death sentence in a murder case. The judge awarded a death sentence to Allah Rakha, finding him guilty of killing Muhammad Sardar. Two accused, Allah Wasaya and Muhammad Iqbal, were acquitted. The judge directed Allah Rakha to Rs500,000 to the heirs of the deceased. Safdar was gunned down on December 13, 2006. The FIR was registered with Green Town police.
