Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Director General and former captain Javed Miandad has postponed his India visit over the controversy regarding his relationship with suspected terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, reported Express News on Friday.

According to sources, Miandad was due to leave for New Delhi on Saturday to watch the third and final ODI between India and Pakistan on January 6.

Miandad has been previously denied visa by Indian authorities since his son married Ibrahim’s daughter.

Extremist parties in India though had raised objection to their governments volte-face on granting Miandad a visa for the upcoming match.

Miandad though did not confirm whether he will visit India on a later date.
