No evidence: Bail granted to two suspects

Two alleged drug traffickers were granted bail by the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday. The division bench of LHC accepted the bail of Begum Dilshad, who was accused of smuggling 137 kilogram hashish. During the hearing, the counsel of the petitioner informed the court that there is no solid proof against her client and police only detained her on suspicion. Court accepted her bail application. In another case, the same bench accepted the bail of Shakir Khan, who was accused of smuggling five kilogram hashish. Court accepted his bail application.
