Cricket: Karachi reach final of PCB U-16 event
Peshawar’s decision of batting first backfired as they were bowled out for a paltry 95 in 28.4 overs.

Karachi sailed into the final of the PCB U-16 One-Day Tournament after Saif Ali Ghouri’s four-wicket haul helped them register an impressive nine-wicket win over Peshawar at the Marghazar Ground in Islamabad yesterday.
Peshawar’s decision of batting first backfired as they were bowled out for a paltry 95 in 28.4 overs. Abdul Ghani top-scored with 24, while Ghouri took four wickets and conceded just 30 runs.
In reply, Usman Ali struck a 64-ball 60 to help Karachi achieve the target easily as they made 98 for one in 19 overs. In the other semi-final, Rawalpindi defeated Quetta by eight wickets, thanks to Zeeshan Malik’s unbeaten 67-run knock.
