The Lahore High Court on Monday directed the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) chairman to consult board members on the authority’s affairs. The petition challenged the appointment of Farooq Awan as PTA chairman. The petitioner said Awan’s appointment had been made on political grounds. The next hearing will be on January 15.
