‘Honour’ Crime: Man arrested for killing daughter, alleged lover
Police identified the deceased as Imran Masih.

A man was arrested on Monday for allegedly killing his daughter and her alleged lover. Police said the man had confessed to the killing and said that he had done so for the “family’s honour”.
Saddar police said that Rasheed Hajjam found a man with his daughter in her room after he returned from work. He attacked them with a razor and cut their throats. Some neighbours, who had rushed to the house on hearing the girl scream, said that they found the two lying dead on the floor. Rasheed was sitting next to them, they said.
When they asked him, they added, he confessed to the crime. Police were informed and Rasheed was arrested. Police identified the deceased as Imran Masih.
