Balochistan National Party (Awami) MPA Dr Fouzia Marri, who had administered Agha's oath, was elected unopposed as the deputy speaker.
After the oath, Agha pledged that he will fulfill all his duties with sincerity.
The slot of speaker had fallen vacant on December 26 with the ousting of Aslam Bhootani through a unanimous no-trust resolution.
Reliable sources had earlier told The Express Tribune that Marri is likely to become the deputy speaker.

Such drama, the Idio-establishment partnership has brought nothing but HAVOC to a province that already found it hard to keep pace with the rest of the county. Self mockery on part of these so called leaders has damaged the image of the people of Balochistan who have all the potential to achieve great feats.
