Lower Dir avalanche: Bodies of paramilitary officials recovered

The residents and security forces started the rescue work and rescued the civilian alive.

TIMERGARA:
Bodies of the two paramilitary personnel who was buried under snow in Bin Shahi area of lower Dir were uncovered by rescue workers on Saturday.

On Friday, two Frontier Corps personnel and a civilian were buried in the snow when an avalanche hit them near the Bin Shahi check post. They were clearing the ground with a bulldozer at the time.


The residents and security forces started the rescue work and rescued the civilian alive. The operation continued and on Saturday afternoon the bodies of the two personnel, identified as Naik Naseem and Tayyab, surfaced.
