Educational effort: Importance of research stressed

Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) Vice Chancellor Zakir Husain directed the heads of departments on Friday to gear up research. He was chairing a meeting of faculty of the College of Pharmacy and Department of Physics. Hussain stressed the need for inculcating discipline and hard work among students. He directed the staff to take every step to hone the students’ skills. He said the youth were less interested today in reading books and efforts should be made to develop this habit among them.
