Embezzlement: Inquiry launched against civil judge

The LHC inspection team member has initiated an inquiry against Senior Civil Judge Amir Habib on charges of embezzling funds given to him for purchasing furniture and computers for Faisalabad’s civil judges. The LHC administration had issued Rs5 million to Habib during his posting at Faisalabad in 2010. Contrary to the LHC instructions, Habib procured laptops instead of desk top computers and himself kept six laptops.
