Crime most foul: Mystery shrouds young girl’s death
The medico-legal officer at Pims ruled out the possibility of suicide.
ISLAMABAD:
A young girl was found dead in a flat in Sector G-11/4 on Thursday, police sources said. The Ramna police shifted the body to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for autopsy. According to preliminary report most of the girl’s bones were broken. A doctor at Pims who conducted the autopsy said her backbone was broken. The police suspected that the 20-year-old might have been thrown from the building. The medico-legal officer at Pims ruled out the possibility of suicide. The residents of the apartments told the police that a businessman used to visit the flat to meet the girl. The businessman had brought the girl from his village in Lakki Marwat and kept her in the rented apartment. Samples have been sent to the laboratory to ascertain the cause of death.
