ISLAMABAD:
The city police on Thursday registered a case against a man who was accused of raping his daughter-in-law.
Tariq*, a resident of Choa Saidan Shah District Chakwal, was accused of raping his 24-year-old daughter-in-law and mother of two kids, said an official of Kohsar Police Station.
According to police sources, Nadia*, lodged a complaint that her father-in-law had raped her for three days in a house in Sector F-7/4. In her application, the victim alleged that on December 24, Tufail brought her to Islamabad to arrange a meeting with her mother. However, instead of arranging the meeting, he allegedly raped her at his servant quarter, police official said.
The complainant further alleged that he threatened her of dire consequence if she told anyone about the incident. Police said that the family is settled in Choa Saidan Shah and the victim’s husband is a car mechanic. The accused is a security guard at a private company. When contacted, Investigation Officer (IO) Mansha Shah confirmed that an FIR has been registered against the suspect.
He said that the police are still waiting for Nadia’s medical report. “The medial report is very important; usually people approach the police with rape allegations against their own relatives, but after investigation the suspects are found not guilty,” he added. *Names have been changed

@Huma
Are you sure? Have chequed every thing?
@maamu and @mariam... agree with everything mariam wrote, additionally, you CANNOT marry the father-in-law anyway, a relationship in the prohibited degree.
@maamu: Detestable. What kind of a person you are? and you don't know anything about Islam.
@Vishnu Dutta
@Mariam Remember Zainab?
You only remember names, don't you? But what are names but mere dots in a long chain of history and traditions of mankind? Especially of pure kind. Zainab fell in love and the recipient just obliged, as any man worth his salt (or meat if you like) would, nay should, if he was a privy to the message delivered in private between a celestial and a mere mortal. You won't understand as @maamu didn't, but @Mariam and @Praan did.
@maamu: I think you just want attention and nothing else. Loser!
@Mariam:
Remember Zainab?
Thats right. Nothing wrong done here
@Maamu, I don't know if your comment is genuine, or just one that wants to provoke a discussion, but I believe that your comment is frighteningly ignorant and misguided. First of all, would you live with someone who has abused you? Of course the answer is no, so why should this lady live with a person that abused her? Secondly, this lady is the victim, no one asks to get raped and this desi attitude of blaming the victim has to stop immediately. Rape is a terrible crime and effects the victim for their entire life, and this is not helped by societies like Pakistan, where, the victim is always blamed. Thirdly, Islam does not teach us to force women to marry. Islam gives women their right to marry when and who they want. Forced marriages is a crime under Islam. Maybe you should read the Islamic rules before making comments!
If she was raped by her father in law then she should be forced to marry him. Islam has rules for this.
