ISLAMABAD:
The first batch of Political Science at the Department of School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR) at Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) graduated on Wednesday. The SPIR conferred degrees upon the 36 postgraduates in a ceremony here on Wednesday.
SPIR Chairperson Dr Zafar Nawaz Jaspal said the school hopes to establish a distinctive status in social sciences in Pakistan “by expanding and diversifying its student and faculty composition.”
QAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Masoom Yasinzai also congratulated the students. “Political Science has gained much attention among students wishing to pursue their careers in diversified public and private sector professional fields,” he said.
