Research: VC stresses need for practical experience
“Coordination with the industries will pave the way for the students to get practical knowledge," says Dr Hussain.
FAISALABAD:
Industry and educational institutes need to develop active interactions to benefit from each others’ experiences, Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) Vice Chancellor Dr Zakir Hussain said on Wednesday. He was meeting the Botany and Applied Chemistry Department faculty. He instructed the teachers to promote research and encourage students to pursue it. He said state-of-the-art laboratories will be set up at the university.
He urged the teachers to ensure that their students got practical experience during their time at the university. “Coordination with the industries will pave the way for the students to get practical knowledge. This will also help the industry to get solutions to their problems.”
