High-risk districts: 100% coverage in polio drive directed

ISLAMABAD: The local authorities of various high-risk districts have been asked to ensure a 100% coverage during every polio immunisation drive.

According to an official of the Polio Eradication Programme, authorities have been directed to reach every child to protect them from the crippling disease.

The official said that the government and development partners are putting in all-out efforts to make Pakistan a polio-free country and have sought support of the general public and local communities.
